DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY – RONY A. ABOVITZ
Rony Abovitz is the Director of “Yellow Dove Aftermath”, and founder & CEO of Sun and Thunder Studios, a forward looking advanced animation, technology, and Storyworld Studio. Yellow Dove Aftermath is the first animated short film from the Hour Blue World. Rony is also the founder & CEO of SynthBee, Inc., a deeptech AI platform company (currently in stealth mode). He also is the founder of spatial computing/XR leader Magic Leap, as well as surgical robotics leader and pioneer MAKO Surgical. Rony is also a 2x World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer.
DIRECTOR STATEMENT
I love imagined worlds and animation. My hope is that each film I create and direct leaves the audience with a sense of new wonder, hope, and the desire to explore and search.
