A mysterious group called Deep Oblivion organizes “Headshot”, a live action recreation of a death match inspired by a video game The participants are 8 gamers, each with a customized suit of armor and an air gun All are equipped with body cams to broadcast the show live on the ZZIP platform What appears to be a competition of cunning and action becomes a fight for survival when the gamers discover that there is a vicious killer among them.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY – NIKO MAGGI
Niko Maggi born in 1991, is a young director of his first Feature Film with the feature HEADSHOT. Multifaceted in his knowledge of cinema, he has several years of experience in distribution. He recently decided to devote himself to independent filmmaking, recognizing it as the one and only true “artistic machine” of contemporary cinema. He began very young in 2008 to work on the American set of “4 Single Fathers” for Indiana Production under the supervision of Gabriele Muccino, making the Backstage of the film. From the United States in 2011 he moved to Australia where he gained international sales experience at Arclight Films in Sydney. Back in Italy in 2018 he is in charge of the various post-production phases of the film “Fade Out” for Cine 1 Italia. In 2019 he is Production Inspector for the film “Il Delitto Mattarella ” directed by Aurelio Grimaldi. In 2020 he is Executive Producer for the film “Death Party,” directed by Salvatore Metastasio also taking care of the post-production stages. In 2021 he begins his directing career with the development and preparation of the film “Headshot.” He is a partner in the Post-Production studio Liquix.Studio.
