The clip’s plot takes the viewer from the present to 1963, where the mysterious character Harfang falls into the hands of Soviet scientists. He was found at the epicenter of nuclear tests and was immediately taken from the explosion site to a secret laboratory somewhere in the Ukrainian SSR. He faces interrogations and brutal experiments. However, one day, despite his suffering, Harfang saves a female laboratory staff member from certain death. The woman’s husband witnesses this act of rescue and cannot allow the person who saved his pregnant wife’s life to continue suffering behind the walls of the secret facility. He decides to rescue Harfang, no matter what it costs him.
DIRECTOR BIOGRAPHY – ARTUR LERMAN
Artur Lerman is a Ukrainian film director and screenwriter. He was born in the north of Ukraine in Chernihiv on April 10, 1988. He graduated from the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts with a degree in Film Directing in 2010.
He has directed more than 30 shows for leading TV channels in Ukraine and Europe. In 2017, he received the Grand Prix at WorldFestHuston. He worked in advertising and music videos. Since 2017, he has been actively working in the film industry. Since the beginning of the war, he has been making documentaries for worldwide distribution, covering historical events in Ukraine. In 2023 he received a state award for his active contribution to the development of the Ukrainian film industry.
